CT Polytechnic College students make Rs 80,000 car

Srinagar, Aug 7: Technocrats of CT Polytechnic College have made a new sports car that fits in the budget of a layman.
The estimated cost of the car is approximately Rs.80,000.The car has been modified from the old Maruti-800 car. The 6th semester students of Automobile Engineering have formulated the idea of making this innovative car.
The students involved in this novel project are Jagpreet Singh, Garimansh Singh, Sukhraj Singh Paramvir Singh, Navjot  Singh, Sandeep  Singh, Sarbjit Singh, Jaspreet Singh, Gurjit Singh  & Ajeet Kumar, the college in a statement said.
This project has been invented as a F-1 type car. To serve this purpose 800 CC engine of Maruti 800 car has been used as the basic structure. 
Jagpreet Singh, the team leader said, “The success and final outcome of this project required a lot of guidance and assistance from many people and “we are extremely fortunate to have got this all along the completion of our project work.”
