RTC city buses in 17 towns

Anantapur: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) will introduce city bus service in 17 cities and towns, said APSRTC managing director AK Khan.

He told reporters here on Sunday that about 1,000 buses will be introduced on city routes in these places. In Anantapur, the RTC has identified 20 city bus routes.

Khan said the APSRTC bus station in Tirupati would be expanded and modernized to provide better amenities to pilgrims visiting the temple town.
