BANGALORE: Giving film buffs a glimpse into Portuguese culture and cinematography, Portuguese Embassy Cultural Centre, in association with Suchitra Film Society, is organizing a three-day film festival in the city.
Vandan Kumar, deputy director, Portuguese Embassy Cultural Centre, New Delhi, said six films will be screened at the film society in Banashankari II Stage, from July 5 to 7. "The movies will interest Indian employees working in Wipro, Infosys, Accenture and Oracle who speak Portuguese and deal with firms in Portugal and Brazil," he said.
After Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata will host the festival from July 15 to 18. All the movies will have English sub-titles. Entry is free.

* July 5: The Northern Land directed by Joao Botelho (7.15pm)
* July 6: Embargo directed by Antonio Ferreira (5.30pm) and America by Joao Pinto (7.15pm)
* July 7: The Sword and the Rose by Joao Nicolau (3pm), Disquiet by Joao Botelho (5.30pm) and Civil War directed by Pedro Caldas (7.15pm)
