Whether you are using android, I-phone or blackberry, you can choose from many free of cost apps. These would help you locate the exact location of your car on google maps, at a distance of up to one kilometer.
"It is sometimes really difficult to find your parked car while you are in a busy area or at parking spaces during holidays and festivals. In that case, car finding apps can prove to be useful. You only need to feed details of your car, like its make, model and colour," said Anmol Ghai, a bank employee and resident of Sector 36.
Some of the apps to which city residents are hooked these days include, "find my car", "my car locator", "park-a-lot", "sixth sense car finder", "car spot" and "car finder."
"At times, you waste a lot of time trying to find out where your car was parked. It happened to me almost everyday while leaving for home after work in Sector 17. These days, I am using the 'find my car' app in my I-phone and results are always accurate," said Sukhbir Singh, who works at a private immigration office.
