New Apple MacBook Air with Intel ‘Haswell’ processors in India from Rs 67,900

Apple’s new MacBook Air computers are now available in India. The 11-inch device starts at Rs 67,900, while the 13-inch version starts at Rs 74,900
The new generation MacBook Air notebooks were unveiled earlier this month at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference.

The new MacBook Air comes with fourth-generation Intel ‘Haswell’ processors with Core i5 and Core i7 versions. It also has New Intel HD Graphics 5000 which according to Apple provide up to 40 percent faster graphics. The Air also comes with faster 802.11ac Wi-Fi and flash storage starting at 128GB.

The 13-inch MacBook Air now comes with up to 12 hours of battery life, while the 11-inch MacBook Air delivers up to 9 hours of battery life. Apple is highlighting the better battery life of the new Air computers as the key feature.

The 11-inch MacBook Air is equipped with a 1.3 GHz processor, 4GB of memory and 128GB of flash storage starts is priced Rs 67,900, while the one with 256GB flash storage storage is priced at Rs 81,900.

The 13-inch MacBook Air with a 1.3 GHz processor 4GB of memory and 128GB flash storage starts at $74,900 and 256GB flash storage starts at Rs 88,900.

All models have the Intel fourth-generation 1.3GHz dual-core Core i5 with a turbo boost of up to 2.6GHz. The Air also comes with two USB 3.0 ports and 1 Thunderbolt port, while the 13-inch MacBook Air has a SDXC card slot as well as the other ports.
