Telecom major Vodafone today slashed internet charges by as much as 80 per cent for its 2G pre-paid and post-paid customers.
The company said it is now offering the lowest data or internet charges in the industry.
These rates are currently applicable in Karnataka, UP West and Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh circles, and will be rolled out nationally in a phased manner.
"The rate cut from 10 paise per 10 KB to 2 paise per 10 KB will make internet access affordable for customers who use mobile internet in a limited way. These new charges are the lowest in market making them extremely attractive for all customers," Vodafone said in a statement.
