Healthcare management
Goa Institute of Management (GIM) is now offering a postgraduate diploma
in healthcare management. The programme is being conducted at GIM’s
Ribandar campus. The programme provides participants with an in-depth
exposure to various facets of the healthcare delivery process, the
economics of health, understanding hospital services, planning and
delivery and quality management in healthcare. This is a two-year

MDIS merit scholarships
Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) has announced the
launch of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in association with the
University of Sunderland, U.K. The courses will be offered at the
Singapore campus of the MDIS. The courses, BA (honours) in accounting
and financial management, BA (honours) in business and marketing and
one-year Master of business administration programme are open to
international students.

Business Head (Singapore), MDIS, announced the scholarships and grants
scheme introduced by the MDIS for deserving international students
recently. “We aim to make education in Singapore more affordable and
these scholarships will go a long way in bringing in more Indians
students to MDIS.”
Under the merit scholarship, an applicant’s academic merits in Class X
and XII, leadership qualities and participation in community as deemed
appropriate by the academic community will be taken into consideration.
Indian students with 80 cent pent in any Board of education are eligible
to apply to these courses. Final selection will be based on personal
interview. The deadline to apply for merit scholarship is August 30 and
for study grant July 31. MDIS does not require work bond from the

Sports physiotherapy
SPARRC Institute is offering a Sports Physiotherapy course that will be
conducted during the weekends (Saturday and Sunday, 9.00 a.m. to 4.00
p.m.). Certificate will be issued on course completion of 144 Contact

Medicine in the Philippines?

BSc in filmmaking
Whistling Woods International (WWI) will be the first to start a
professional three-year B.SC programme in filmmaking. Apart from the
three-year programme, the institute offers a two-year diploma in
filmmaking and a certificate course in screenwriting.
The WWI will also offer courses in fashion and media. All the courses
begin in July. The diploma and advanced diploma in fashion design from
the WWI Neeta Lulla School of Fashion begins in August. WWI is
